Jessica Coombs

Lead Designer

Jessica spent the first part of her childhood in Boca Raton, FL before moving to the mountains of NC at age nine. Her family lived for a brief period of time with her grandparents while house shopping, and it was during this time spent with her grandmother, she developed a passion for space planning. Her grandmother always had things decorated beautifully. She was an immaculate hostess with attention to detail, and provided Jessica freedom to experiment with decorating. Jessica went on to draw floor plans for fun for all of her friends at a young age.

After high school, Jessica went on a trip overseas with YWAM ministries. During her time spent in Nepal, she was inspired, and decided to return to the mountains of NC and attend Appalachian State University for an Interior Design degree. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and has been active in the field ever since. She is grateful for the opportunities she has been given over the years to practice Interior Design through various outlets. These include working for a small design firm during her college years, moving onto being the lead designer for a large 3 year project for a contractor where she also did training in Autodesk Revit. She then worked with several local contractors independently designing and drafting many homes and small businesses.

While Jessica enjoys all aspects of Interior Design, her main passion is residential design. A person’s home is their oasis, and she likes being part of the process in making someone’s dream come to life. Jessica is honored to have worked with 4 Forty Four on various projects over the years (since 2014), and now exclusively since 2023.

In her personal time Jessica enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and husband, Todd. She enjoys taking daily trips together, traveling and discovering new places. She loves hiking, good food, going to the lake in the summer, and being with friends. She also enjoys being in charge of the floral arrangements for her church and using her talents to serve where she can.
