John Glynn

John completed an engineering degree at the Colorado School of Mines in 1991 and then embarked on a 30-year career in the oil and gas industry. During that time, John worked primarily outside of the U.S. in project engineering and project/account management roles, engaging with diverse teams of people from many countries.

John relocated to Boone, NC in 2020 while in the process of building a home. John enjoyed the homebuilding experience and, once that project was completed, decided to return to the work force and joined 4 Forty Four. John’s extensive organizational and management proficiencies are utilized daily. John likes to share events and experiences from his time spent in the international oil and gas business.

John and his wife enjoy gardening and landscaping, hiking, biking and exploring the North Carolina High Country.
