Instilled with a strong work ethic, Lynn Lawrence was not ready to "hit the rocking chair" after retiring as a church secretary after over 20 years. Lynn truly believes that God's timing, plus 4 Forty Four's need for additional office staff was a divine plan in her life.

Lynn is a native and life long resident of Blowing Rock. She feels that she has been blessed through her extensive travels to proudly declare that there are many beautiful places around the world but none better than Blowing Rock. To say that Lynn is an ambassador for the town she loves is an understatement.

Lynn's love for her family, her town and her fellow man is evident as she has been named, Blowing Rock's Woman of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. She serves on many Boards and Committees and has been fondly dubbed "The woman that can't say no."

Lynn served Blowing Rock for 20 years as First Lady as she is married to former Mayor J.B. Lawrence. They have two sons and are blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys her family, traveling, A.S.U. and Carolina Panthers football and giving big hugs!
